Actress Aishwarya Rai was awarded with Padma Shri Award. At the specially held function Padma Awards 2009 at Ahok Hall in the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Monday. The award was presented by the Indian President Pratibha Patil. A total of 62 prominent persons received the Padma awards including Aish from the President.
When the award was presented to Aishwarya Rai there were her husband Abhishake Bachchan, father in law Amitabh Bachchan and mother in law Jaya Bachchan too present at the hall.
So another important gem is mounted on the crown of former Miss World and current top actress Aish. We too wish her more success in her happy life.
