At CANNES, France Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai made her appearence with her actor husband Abhishek bachchan. This is her first public appearence in overseas with her husband after their wedding. She is expected to contnue her vacation soon after.
Aishwarya Rai, 31, a former Miss World, and top Indian actress, took a break from her honeymoon for a flying visit to the Cannes Film Festival. She is in the French Riviera resort as a team of models for the promotion of the cosmetics company L'Oreal.Rai was in the audience and on the red carpet at the opening-night festival screening of Wong Kar-wai's "My Blueberry Nights.
Aishwarya Rai also said that she will continue to work on her latest film, the 16th-century royal love story "Jodha-Akbar" once she return home.
