Aishwarya RaiAmitabh Bachchan father of Abhishek Bachchan went to Tirupati temple on Sunday, ahead of the Abhishek - Aishwarya Rai wedding which is going to take place later this week and offered the First Invitation to the Lord Venkateshwara to get the blessing for the wedding. Normally he used to visit there 5, 6 times a year. The Lord Venkatashalapathy temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India is one of the Richest Hindu temple Trust in India. A lot of Hindu devotees visit everyday to worship Lord Venkatashalapathy, staying in queue some time for long hours.

Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan went to the temple along with his long time friends Samajwadi Party leaderAmar Singh and industrialist Anil Ambani. They reached there 7.30 AM by a special flight from Mumbai. They went for the Darshan of 15 minutes through the VVIP entrance. After the Darshan the priests presented them with holy 'Vastram' (piece of cloth) and blessed them with 'Veda Aaseervachanam'.All three friends donated Rs 51 lakh for education of Aishwarya Raipoor children and hospital facilities at the Tirupati temple. Then Mr.Amitabh Bachchan Gave the Abhishek Bachchan - Aishwarya Rai's wedding card to the priests for Blessing. They in turn Blessed it with reciting hymns and sprinkling with holy turmeric mixed rice and pasting Kumkum on the four corners and laid it at the feet of Lord Venkatashalapathy. After that Mr.Amitabh Bachchan dropped the Wedding Invitation Card inside the "Undi" where devotees offer their offering to the Lord Tirupati Venkatashalapathy. Thus the Blessing for the Wedding was got from the God Lord Venkatashalapathy .

 


The Wedding invitation cards have been given to selected relatives, Friends and some selected well wishers. The Four page marriage invitation card was embossed with AA on the cover and contained the signatures of the stars. The three day wedding ceremony will go ahead as planned but with low publicity. Both families are trying to make it as a real private simple marriage. The wedding ceremony will start at Aishwarya RaiBachchan's home along with the Sangeet. (Singing and dancing performed relatives.)

The Henna ceremony will go ahead at the Aishwarya Rai's Home. (Henna ceremony - decorating Bride's hand with Designs with the traditional Henna dye).

The Reports says there will be tight security around the home, with more than 500 police officers, some with Metal detectors to search suspicious people.
